La Roche Posay Vitamin C Reddit
Looking for vitamin c serum
I've been trying to find a semi-affordable vitamin c serum for a while now…
I bought the La Roche-Posay one a few weeks ago, and it seems to be working well for me so far but I'm reluctant to continue with it due to the perfum included (something which I failed to check before I bought it)
Anyone have one that can be bought in the uk, which is a "reasonable" price in terms of what i'm looking for?
Thank you!

I bought the melano cc one from stylevana for <£10

Seconding Geek and Gorgeous. Paula's Choice and Hylamide are also good but pricier.
Look for something with C + E + Ferulic acid, and at least 15% concentrated.

I appreciated the Hylamide one too. Didn't like the texture but liked the results.
Right now I'm on Inkey List 15% Vitamin C and it's going really well.

I bought Ferulic acid and Vitamin c powder the ordinary. Cheap and lasts a long time

i really like using TO Alpha Arbutin + Vitamin C serum, it's about a tenner I think and works really well for me on hyperpigmentation etc.

Garden of wisdom 100% it's £10 and an amazing formula. The packaging is good for vitamin c aswell as it's in an airless pump which is loads better than a dropper bottle so it doesn't oxidise
level 2
The gold standard of Vit C right now is SkinCeuticals and their patented product (which is ridiculously expensive) has only 15% of L-AA, why does Garden of wisdom have 23%? Isn't that too much / irritating?

I've been really liking Mad Hippies vit c serum, also sometimes uses Klairs vitamin drops

Vitamin C powder (L-ascorbic acid), dissolved in warm water. Splashed on the face before moisturiser. Can be used all over the body. No junk. Super inexpensive. Doesn't degrade until it's dissolved in water.

Ascorbyl Glucosise Solution 12% by the ordinary is amazing! I highly recommend it- the consistency is lovely and it doesn't have a strong smell.

Just curious: if it's working for you, why is the fragrance making you want to change it?

I find Superdrug's one amazing

The superdrug one did nothing for me and I didn't like the smell of it either. I'm glad it's working for you though!

I've just started using Inkey List - the consistency is a bit thick and very strong, but they recommend mixing it with a bit of their Hylauronic acid and honestly it goes on like a dream. Super affordable and actually seen a difference in just over a week's use.

Ive been using the Ole Henrikson Truth serum and it works pretty well for me, but it's quite pricey.
Fragrance isnt inherently bad for you it's just the latest skin care nemesis. If you're not reacting to it then there's no need to stop using it unless you dont like the smell.
